The second issue of the Salamat Academic & Research Journal continues its mission of fostering medical and public health research by presenting a diverse selection of studies relevant to Afghanistan and beyond. This edition features original research on critical health topics, including the risk of obstructive sleep apnea in pregnancy, anesthesia outcomes in hemorrhoidectomy, and women's knowledge and practices regarding physical activity and cardiovascular health. Other studies explore public awareness of cell phone radiation hazards, the prevalence and management of hepatic hydatid cysts, and tuberculosis knowledge among hospital outpatients.
